As everybody is well aware, the economy is not in the greatest shape right now. I have been learning that many individuals and companies alike use this as a built in excuse to just let things be, and not work even harder to achieve goals that are set. "Who Moved My Cheese" is a book my wife and I read a couple years ago, it is a very quick read that deals with change. In it, there are 4 mice who are in a maze who get cheese from a certain location everyday. Then one day the cheese is not there, it was moved. 2 mice after time decide to look elsewhere for the cheese, while the other 2 keep going back to the same spot. Eventually, the 2 mice who left find the cheese in a new location. This is a story all people can learn from. Change is inevitable, so how are we going to deal with that change. In the trucking industry, there is so much change set for the coming years. It is our responsibility to take on this change and learn how to thrive in the midst of all that surrounds us. Our company has a fresh vision, with an exciting future ahead. I encourage you to take some time and get fresh vision for your work, company, and life.
