At Lori's Trucking, we take safety very seriously. One of our customers, the BNSF Railway, released a monthly safety newsletter. In it there is some good reminders for all trucking companies and drivers alike. The message is to stay focused on the task at hand. There are many things that can take away attentiveness, and it is imperative that all in a position where safety is important to prohibit those things from distracting us from the task at hand. As well as staying focused, it is important for drivers to stay away from using cell phones while driving. The BNSF reiterated this in its newsletter, and we have adopted a very strict cell phone use policy. We take matters of safety and respecting others on the road as utmost importance, keeping focused and not allowing things such as cell phone use adds merit to that. Keep safe out there!
